AI Synergies

Ferdinand Casier

Business Group Leader Digital Industries, Agoria

How to define the right AI innovation trials?

Even the most intelligent algorithm will be useless without some prior knowledge of the application domain and the right data to analyze. Understanding the project objectives and requirements from a business perspective and converting this understanding into an AI solution is a key requirement to successfully deploy AI solutions into industrial context. We will discuss how companies could define their first AI innovation trial and how the execution of the trials at the companies could be supported by AI experts.

Ferdinand Casier holds an Executive Master in Management from the Solvay Business School and has more than 18 years of experience in the digital industries. In March 2013 he joined Agoria, the Belgian Federation for the technology industry, as Business Group Leader for the Digital Industries. He has spurred innovation in the data field through the EluciDATA project in collaboration with Sirris and DTAI (2014-2018), has developed several projects in the areas of IoT, cybersecurity and information management and is now actively involved in the implementation of regional and national strategies to encourage the adoption of AI by companies and organizations.
